Description
During the Ganesh Chaturthi festival in 2025, our college hosted a proactive health check-up camp where SRIDP professionals screened vital parameters to promote early detection of lifestyle diseases. The initiative focused on recording essential data such as Blood Pressure, Random Blood Sugar, and Blood Grouping to provide students and staff with an immediate snapshot of their cardiovascular and metabolic health. These screenings are vital in a college setting, as they help identify "silent" conditions like hypertension or pre-diabetes, which often show no symptoms in young adults. By conducting these tests during the festival, the camp successfully used a high-traffic cultural event to ensure that hundreds of individuals received clinical insights, including their ABHA digital health registration and guidance on maintaining optimal health benchmarks.
